GM’s first-half sales in China surpassed those in the U.S. for the first time
For the first time ever, sales in China of General Motors Co.’s vehicles in the first six months of the year have topped its sales in the US.

Based on figures reported by GM, sales in China by GM and its joint ventures totaled 1.21 million vehicles in the first half-year period, surpassing US deliveries of 1.08 million. I see it another way:

Last year was probably the last time GM sold more cars in the US than China...

So... if the Chinese market wants a large flagship Cadillac with 16 cylinders, high-displacement, expensive materials... Would GM make one for them? Would potential high demand help GM make the pricing more reasonable? :D

The Cadillac Sixteen concept was awesome; even Top Gear loved it.

Oh, btw, don't think China lacks social networks. If the government does something some people disapprove, they're allowed to make a mention as long as they don't plan on overthrowing the government - kinda like the way it is here in the US. And those social networks are now full of complaints about the new iPhone (Sorry 001). If GM can dramatically raise the quality and dependability of their vehicles, they're golden.
