Volkswagen AG sold more than 3.5 million cars in the first half of 2010

In a recent interview, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn said that the German manufacturer sold more than 3.5 million cars to customers worldwide in the first half of 2010.

Vw brand has sold significantly more than 2 million cars globally. January-to-June sales were with 15 percent higher, comparing them to the same period last year. Winterkorn also added that Vw will see record car sales in 2010.

They just sold 3.5 million cars in the first half of 2010...while their cars aren't very exciting or nice to look at, its obvious that they're selling, why the hell would they try to redesign their entire product line after reaching those kinds of sales numbers?
