Toyota will open seven field offices to investigate customer complaints
Toyota announced that it is planning to expand its quality effort in the U.S. and Canada by opening seven field offices with technology and engineering specialists who will investigate the customer complaints.

Apparently, this move will be achieved in 12 months and will be separate from Toyota’s Swift Market Analysis and Response Teams (SMART). Each field office will have three to five additional engineers and regions will have specialties, for example the New York office will be focusing on corrosion issues.
