According to the latest reports, it appears that Porsche will price the 918 Spyder at $630,000, which means that the new hybrid supercar from the German manufacturer will be more expensive than the Carrera GT.

For its new vehicle which will be its most expensive model, Porsche says that over 2,000 potential buyers expressed their interest for the supercar. For those who don’t know, the 918 Spyder is one of three hybrid models Porsche presented at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

If it's something as insane as the Carrera GT then any price will be able to be justified. Porsche should be producing Carrera GT type cars. They sure have enough talented people in the R&D department to create an ultra exotic rather than having 911's that reach the entry level super car market against the 458's and Gallardo's. I am a happy owner of the 911 turbo with flappy paddle PDK but I wish my car had a bigger and meaner brother.
