2011 Fiat 500 Prima Edizione: a limited edition just for United States
Fiat announced a special edition of its 500 minicar in order to make its North American debut in Italian style. Dubbed Fiat Cinquecento ‘Prima Edizione’ (First Edition), the new collector-edition Fiat 500 models will be manufactured in a limited edition of just 500 units and will be sold just in the U.S.

According to the manufacturer, the new models will be exclusively available in three colors: Bianco (White), Rosso (Red) and Grigio (Gray) and will be equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder engine mated to a manual transmission.

The iQ has been a long time coming, Toyota hasn't made any announcements about selling it here as of yet. I guess Toyota has missed an opportunity to generate some good publicity for itself in the eye of the US car buyer.
TO think that someday all these cool microcars would be selling in the US was an impossibility just a few years ago.
