McLaren MP-12C sold out for at least two years
If converted to sales, the number of expressions of interests to buy McLaren’s new MP-12C translates to two years of production. So far, McLaren has received over 2,700 firm expressions of interests.

When the MP4-12C was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this month, it was applauded by those who attended the show, as well as potential customers. After having done over one million test miles in five continents, the MP4 is now entering its final stages of development. At the McLaren Production Centre, preparations are underway for car production starting in early 2011.

I dare say you are incorrect, When the LF-A is compared to Lux GT's with sporting intentions like the SLS, it is said to be a pure track based monster, to compete with the likes of the F458 and MP4-12C. Make up your mind please.
