Isn't this all just speculation? Until the sales numbers are there (which they aren't, Hyundai+Kia still sells fewer vehicles in NA than the Chrysler group) which wasn't even part of the big three.

Lol, mostly FUD. The big 2 are still Toyota, GM and Ford. Given VW is a huge conglomerate ( partially state owned) with products around the world. But Hyundai ? They are miling the exchange rate right now which allow them to undercut everybody on price , but without that lets see the world wide sales numbers .

Sad day in this country when my fellow Americans dont want to root for the home team. why in the world would someone buy a Hyundia? The Sonata is ok and thats just it it dose not even offer a V6.
