What Are The Five Best Looking Cars On The Planet? Anything Goes In This Royal Rumble...

You know, the topic came up while I was at lunch today with a group of fellow car geeks. New cars vs. old cars, duh.

But, when we were all arguing our respective cases, I couldn't think of one NEW car that I absolutely adore. Hell, I am still having some trouble. After speaking with 001, we both figured it would be a wise question to ask our knowledgeable Spies.

Who ever said we have all of the answers? Back to the topic at hand.

What are the five best looking cars on the planet?

To set some parameters, "new" can be considered anything within the past 10 years -- think: cars have been around for a while, now -- and concept cars, kit cars and prototypes are included.

And "best looking" is kind of open ended.

While I tend to believe that a Jaguar XK140 or a Ferrari 250GT California Spyder are some of the prettiest pieces of metal created, someone else may think a scoop-laden Saleen is the best looking set of wheels of the last century.

I own a 2010 Mercedes S550, but would have bought the 2011 Jaguar XLJ Supercharged were it not for software problems that won't be resolved until fall. The redesigned Jag is incredible looking inside and out, and drives like a dream
