2011 Ford F-150 pickup to receive three replacement powertrains
Three replacement powertrains will be offered with the 2011 Ford F-150 pickup. Sources say that when the 2011 F-150 pickup goes on sale early next year, consumers will have the choice between a 3.7-liter V-6 and a 5.0-liter V-8.

Notably, those engines are in the 2011 Ford Mustang. In addition, Ford revealed that it will offer a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with EcoBoost turbocharging and direct injection in the 2011 F-150. Sources said that all engines will offer 6-speed automatic transmissions. Buyers who are looking for improved fuel economy will like the 3.7-liter V-6, the standard base engine for the 2011 F-150.

+1 Boost
V6 engines worked in pickups for ages, why wouldn't it work now? and when are they going to do something else besides just giving the super duty a face lift. For gods sake, change the look of the doors and door handles at least. this thing has looked the same from the side since it came out way back in the late 90's. Everytime they redesign it all they do is change the front end.
