FIRST LIVE Shots Of The 2011 BMW Frozen Gray M3 Spotted Awaiting Delivery
**Thanks to Tim for the tip!

As some of you may recall, BMW has slated production for 30 M3s in order to celebrate the M car's birthday.

Yes, there are only 30. Yes, it features a matte paint job. Yes, BMW should have been more creative in celebrating a birthday. Yes, it sold out in less than 15 minutes. Yes, it requires each buyer to sign an "agreement" regarding proper paint care. And yes, Jalopnik made an immensely misleading statement saying "...that's approximately $9000 for exclusive paint..."

The latest news shows the first LIVE shots of the car awaiting delivery to Will Turner, owner of Turner Motorsport.

According to Bimmerfest, it is the first delivery of the limited edition M car.

Enjoy it, Billiam!

Everyone is subjective in terms of design, paint and other options/features.

What it comes down to is if you have seen a LEGIT matte PAINT job in the flesh. Wraps don't count.

The right car with the right matte color will always look cool. Case in point; Z4 Coupe Concept in a matte silver:

**NOTE the way the car's lines are highlighted...

Mind you the Z4 was not a particularly good-looking BMW.

you have a point a matte color does highlight the lines more on a matte finish. I would get one and not only because I love BMW's but because it it gives the BMW enthusiast that much more exclusivity compared to all the others out there. people may not see something special or a purpose for what BMW did with this M3 but when your an Enthusiast you look past all of that

I don't get what's wrong with the Z4. I always thought it was a great-looking car, and that Z on the sides looks awesome - a level of detail not to be seen on a car anytime soon.
