Forget what you herd, that RS4 is the sickest luxury saloon in the market at the moment. Audi are really stepping there game up.Anyone herd of an RS6 coming out?

Very awesome! Audi has come a long way and the RS4 will take them even further. I like the fact these cars are 4 doors because it makes them practical for everyday life as well as taking it out and having some fun! I wonder if Audi has improved their "in-the-twisty-bits" handling since this was their weak spot in their cars. Can't wait to try one out! I will take mine in a dark gray or blue thank you!

Hands down, the RS4 has some of the most amazing seats found in any road car. no, I unfortunately haven't sat in one, but the way they measure the cars speed and g-forces to 'adapt' to your body in the way of constantly variable lumbar supports, it stands to reason they will not be uncomfortable.

And here's a simple question:
-What is more comfortable? Sliding around in your plushy 'comfortable' seats, or being held securely when the need arises to takes some twisty roads?

It's meant to be driven hard.

If you find taking a performance car and pushing it hard a foreign concept, then I suggest you opt for the Audi S4. It's not as fast, and it has plusher seats.

Audi is in the middle of expanding its own platforms (not shared by VW) from the mid-range models on out.

For example:

- The current A4 is built on its own platform unique to Audi and NOT SHARED by VW.

- The current A6 is built on its own platform unique to Audi and NOT SHARED by VW.

- The A8 platform was engineered by Audi. Part of the technology was then given to VW for the failed Phaeton. Audi retained exclusivity for over half of the essential technology (Aluminum space frame, Torsen quattro, etc.)

- Audi's forthcoming flexible platform architecture will encompass almost its entire line of models from the next Gen A3, A4, A6, all the way up to the A8. This platform WILL NOT be used by VW. The new TT started development before Audi could finalize this platform and thus is using a vastly altered Golf platform (although Audi re-engineered it almost entirely to sit lower, have a completely different suspension setup, and be made mostly of aluminum).

All Audi models from the A4 up use the state-of-the-art rear-biased all-mechanical Torsen quattro system. All VW's use the far less advanced front-biased electronic Haldex AWD system. Two completely different technologies.

Audi designed and manufactures 3 of the world's top 10 engines (according to Ward's): the 2.0TFSI, the aluminum 3.2 FSI (NOT the same as VW's steel 3.2) and the aluminum 4.2 FSI. These engines are NOT made by VW, but are bought at cost.

The one Audi model that is mechanically similar to a VW is the entry-level A3.

So please, enough with this 'Audi is a rebadged VW' nonsense. You sound just plain foolish.

Anyway, it's a great time for Audi. They are unstoppable at this point.
