Kia announced today that the pricing for the new 2011 Sportage CUV, will begin at $18,292 (plus a $695 destination charge) for the base trim which includes.

The new car will be available in three trims - Base, LX and EX - air conditioning, power windows, door locks and mirrors, SIRIUS Satellite Radio capabilities with three months complimentary service, MP3 connectivity and Bluetooth. For the LX version of the Sportage which includes standard outside mirrors with LED turn signal indicators and privacy glas, Kia announced a base price of $20,295.

Just read the article on the 2011 BMW X3, I'll take one of these over an X3 any day. Sure I'll lose some performance but mainly because I'll be weighed down by all that money I didn't waste on an X3.
