Wow, it's not easy being the top dog...everyone is gunning for you. I'm not sure what it's like for a consumer in Europe but as an American I've felt that Toyota and Honda have spend their day in sun getting fat and happy off of their drab styled, low feature, yet high quality cars. Then along comes Hyundai and Kia and offers us more for less, forcing Toyota and Honda to do the same. I say good for Hyundai and Kia and good for us!

So are Lexus ads. A perfectly capable and perfectly luxurious Toyota Prado Landcruiser here in Asia is the car that the new Lexus GX is based on. While with taxes the Prado is the same as an X5/ML/RR Sport, it's a Toyota badge. So with that said how come Toyota needs to rebadge that and trick American's into thinking it's a Lexus when in actuality it's really just a high end Toyota? A great Toyota at that. Very classy looking.

I actually prefer it over the GX. It's too bad North America's so brainwashed with marketing.

Wow, is this a sign of what's ahead for Toyota and Honda in the US?
