Times have changed. Many brands that are into cars are jumping into super car's and Porsche is going into more mainstream cars. It doesn't affect the quality of the sports/super cars from their stable but at the end of the day it's all business and crunching numbers. They will have a super fast 918 spyder and that's definitely going to be a CGT successor in terms of it being Porsche's hyper car, while leaving the 911 beasts as super cars (whether narrow minded Americans want to believe it or not).

I think for having these kind of products from Porsche is not a bad thing at all. Now they will have more money to make better sports cars.

Except that they don't. Last new sports car model was released in 1996...this would be the 3rd all-new model that wasn't a sports car.

the roxster! I drove a 2011 convertible c4s last weekend and I was very very impressed, porsche should stick to the sports cars and leave the sedans and savs to audi and vw.
