Nissan reveals Moving Object Detection (MOD) safety system

Nissan has a new system that’s intended to sense and alert the driver of the presence of a moving object near the car. This function, which is dubbed Moving Object Detection (MOD), is included in the Around View Monitor system.

Already, the system has received various criticisms from advocates who think that this is one of those distracting high-end technologies that don’t really serve a purpose.

I bet it wont detect really fat americans. Too slow for to be a moving object.
