Looks like they ripped off the 7 series.

This is obviously Photoshopped, but other the thin lights and wrap around chrome (like BMW's 7), this rendition keeps the original shape of the current A8. Albeit with a little more muscle and hard angles. The rear view mirror housing looks nice. Unlike BMW's 7 and its copycats, Audi didn't do their idea of a frumpy trunk :-)

It is a pretty bad photoshop. You can easily see that the basis for it is the new S6.

OF COURSE it's a Photoshop image, 001-igdit! But we can't have an opinion? Audi's "Never Follow" theme will make sure they don't copy directly from competitors, but all makers "borrow" ideas from all other makers.
I lease an '06 A8 and positively love the styling, inside and out. And I hope Audi retains the profile, up the power and creature comforts!

...rounded edges? What picture are you looking at? The creases are much more pronounced on this picture than the current A8. Walter De' Silva has said in multiple interviews that Audi is moving away from Bauhaus. If you look at the latest design studies such as the Roadjet, you would see that there are more pronounces edges in the design.
This car looks great.

the current A8 (before and after wide mouth grill minor restyle) is by far the best looking large sedan on the market. so gorgeous IMO. new S class not so nice.
