Hyundai plans to expand U.S. production within the next month
It seems that things are looking good for Hyundai as the manufacturer needs more factory capacity in the United States.

The Korean manufacturer is planning to expand production within the next month or so, said John Krafcik, CEO of Hyundai Motor America.

As well they should. Hyundai is growing market share and they are definitely on a growth curve. They are making and selling a lot of cars.

Two things will slow the Hyundai ability to move forward in sales in the U.S.. A mostly inept dealer body and a lack of huge incentives that made it fairly easy to buy a Hyundai. If you were upside down in your trade. It was simple to find false equity that allowed Hyundai to put a deal together. Hyundai is destined to become a major player in the U.S. auto market. Without a pickup they will never approach the top of the sales wars. It took Toyota many years to achieve their tremendous volume. As for the recalls, "remember Pearl Harbor" Toyota has been recalcitrant in reporting their blunders.
