Ford to boost production of Lincoln vehicles in the fourth quarter

In the fourth quarter, Ford Motor Co. aims to increase production of Lincoln vehicles. However, the amount for this increase has yet to be disclosed.
This year, Lincoln’s US sales went up by 4.1% to 49,348 cars and trucks, but in July, it fell by 16%. Several Lincoln dealerships have remarked that they can’t get enough vehicles to meet consumer demand, with some dealers having less than a 20-day supply of models. Martin Gubbels, owner of Big Sky Ford in Torrington, Wyo., said that he can’t get anything allocated to him on his last round of Lincoln orders.
