The GS has never been a great seller for Lexus. It's also one of the most uncompetitive Lexus models on the market being neither sporty nor really comfortable and it's also incredibly cramped inside.

The ES is a much better alternative.

I like the GS styling but not so much the interior as it looks cheap. The ES is much cheaper and has more comfortable seats. Just somehow someway it still has that glorified Camry feel to it, not that it's a bad thing, not at all. It's not overpriced that's for sure. In fact I think it's more value than the GS.

Although it doesn't suit my taste Lexus seems to have hit a good spot with the ES. Most other sedans in the price range are after sport, the ES on the other hand favours practicality and luxury which many people still seem to want.
