SPIED: NEW Spy Photographs Of Mercedes-Benz's C-Class
As if you didn't see this coming, it looks like the Mecedes-Benz C-Class is going to get its fair share of updates. As we have seen in previous spy photographs, it is clear that an updated version -- likely to debut with the coupe -- will receive some minor updates.

According to our British friends at Autocar, it is forecasting that the new C will be unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show.

This means we can expect some LED DRLs, updated powerplants and some minor visual tweaks to its front/rear bumpers.

With a new BMW 3-Series on the way, MB has to keep the C-Class fresh and up to date. Especially when most consider the current powerplants lacking.

Mercedes will reveal a facelifted C-class saloon at next year’s Detroit motor show.

There will be subtle visual upgrades, including new headlamps, a more contoured bonnet and reprofiled bumpers...

I think the C-class needs a major refresh, not a minor one to stay competitive. Both engines need to be upgraded, especially the C350. Less bling bling chrome on the exterior and redo all lighting and bumpers. And finally, that interior needs a major overhaul. Even with the the underpowered engines, that interior is the weakest link of the car. It was horrible 3+ years ago, and it's even worse today.

Well, I cannot say I disagree with you.

I have always thought the interior needed some work. Hopefully MB spends more time there than the exterior.

The interior wasn't horrible but it wasn't incredible. The exterior was alright and quite frankly I think only the C63 is the only model in that class that's worth the money. Anything else is bland.
