Old news. But this could have been such a great re-start for Chrysler... instead, they take the bailout money and continue to make the useless and stupid Avenger, Journey, Nitro, Caliber, PT Cruiser, etc. It would be better for them to fold all three lines into one brand and cancel out some of these moribund vehicles. Chrysler would be much better in a slimmed-down form.

They've got the basic lineup... they should just pare it down to the essentials and reinvent the entire brand.

Avenger is on its way out, the last PT was made three weeks ago,the Nitro will be changed, The Journey was the largest selling vehicle in its class in Canada and does well in the states. The Grand C is a big hit, the Ram truck almost sold as many units as Silverado in july, the wrangler is showing an upgraded interior along with the charger that is one of the best 4door rear drive sedans around. CryCo has shown an operating profit so I think Sergio is on the right track. Glad Diamler is gone.

Still too bloated. Why do they need Plymouth at all? PT should have been axed immediately, Nitro and Liberty are absurd. I think Chrysler is on the right track, but they should make it as lean as possible.
