That may be true. However, the Nissan is an affordable vehicle and will evolve with technology. It's not like the difference between the vehicles is just a few thousand dollars.

Exactly! Nissan will eventually want to sell a few thousand Leafs a quarter, where as the Tesla would be happy to sell a thousand cars in two+ years.

Rubbish I'll loan Musk twenty of my AA 1200 Nmhz, I use in my sail boats for his next toy car.... Alpha-Hotels abound because Nissan, GM, were prescient in developing the technology. Elon is jealous as he did not think of the tech first and will now have to license it from Nissan.
