Photos: The best way to order your Porsche-Paint to sample?

As I contemplate ordering my Porsche 997 I'm really tempted to go for the paint to sample option so I will have a one of a kind 997.

The standard Porsche color palette has grown extremely boring in my opinion so I'm leaning towards checking off that option.

The only colors that really excite me for the car are GT silver and Slate.

But if I'm going to spend 3G's to get one of those, why not spend $1300 more and get something truly different?

Like the Gulf Racing Blue (similar to Mexico Blue but a little lighter) in the photos (see gallery)

I'd love to hear our loyal readers chime in and make some color suggestions for good old 001.

I also can't decide between the C2S or the C4S.

Can somebody help a brother out?

Unless you really need the extra traction, the C2S is a little bit more satisfying to drive, due to reduced weight and good 'ol fashioned rear-drive.

I think the 997 in standard colours blends in little bit more than a supercar should. Strangely enough, I like that blue. Is that the same blue as the TechArt 996 GT2? Yummy.

They need to go all out like ASton and allow any color you want, just bring a sample. But this would be like a $10,000 option.
