Vw Eos will be replaced by Passat Cabrio in 2014, report says

It’s not a secret anymore that Volkswagen is working on a facelift for the Eos coupe cabriolet, as 4WheelsNews reported this back in 2009. What we didn’t know, is that the Eos will be replaced three years later by the Passat Cabriolet.

It appears that the German manufacturer wants to apply the same strategy as Mercedes-Benz did with the CLK

Wouldn't a Volkswagen CC Convertible be more stylish than a Passat Convertible?

The CC isn't the same thing as a Passat, although its close.
