Recall: Cadillac SRX and SAAB...Phone home!

Thousands of luxury cars and SUV's are on the recall list Tuesday.

Bill Gephardt tells us what the problems are.

Twenty-three-thousand 2005 Cadillac SRX and STS sedans and another 11-thousand 2001 Saab 9-3 passenger cars are recalled for some pretty serious safety problems.

The Cadillac's are in trouble because the rear suspension might not work.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the vehicle's toe links aren't welded correctly potentially causing a crash.

With the Saab it's the fuel pump giving owners headaches.

NHTSA says these cars have faulty fuel lines and fittings damaged when the cars were made.

I die laughing everytime some idiot tries to tell me that GM cars are "well made" and they "set the standard". Its not the UAW, its a design problem from R&D and obviously no quality control. This is more proof that GM is quickly approaching the end of the line. The more market share they lose, the poor designs and build quality, and lack of vision will surely be their downfall. GM, you won't be missed.
