MINI’s engine boss rules out a diesel hybrid system
If you were planning to wait for a hybrid version of the MINI you’d better drop this plan as the manufacturer ruled out the possibility of introducing a diesel hybrid system.

BS. Real reason is they can't figure out a way to package it in the current engine bay...or maybe just the global conspiracy against diesel hybrids. :)
