again you can either get this or a fully loaded genesis sedan with a better warranty. I have also noticed that 40k-45k could get you a maxima fully loaded then add the tax on to that. ever since nissan dropped that GTR their pricing on the MAxima has been crazy IMO. I like the maxima great car and it looks great BUT...its still a FWD car with all that power. at least make it an AWD if not a RWD(i think would be more suitable). Nissan max i think is overpriced compared to everything else out their in its class

One your information is TOTALLY wrong, for one Maximas top out at probably $38,000 youve never seen a $45,000 Maxima thats just rediculous and you know it. As far as this whole article it also is rediculous as these prices really dont appear to be any/if at all different than 2010 and in either case the pricing has been about this same price since this model Maxima was released. Also, Nissan and Infiniti as many have said before are way to close in price the 370z, Murano, and Maxima all run on top of Infiniti as does loaded Altimas which are very close. Infiniti really needs more distance between their models in general

oh and if you think the Maxima is overpriced check out the pricing on an Avalon, or a Taurus

believe it or not the AValon is sorta in a class by itself everyone knows it was always the Honda Accord, Nissan Maxima, Ford Taurus, and the Toyota Camry. These three cars were always compared to eachnow i dont know what I have no clue about you saying the taurus is more expensive than the max and in all actuality the maxima cost $5000 more than the other 3 (base Models). Now if your comparing the SHO Taurus to a new max that isnt fair because the SHO is a sport model with pretty much everything under the sun. When nissan builds a sport model Maxima with a bigger output engine and some other extras then yeah we can compare it other than that the Maxima is still the MOST exopensive out of the 4

Maxima is a great car but indeed over priced for a front wheel drive. You can the G37 for that price.

Well, it seems to be working out as Maxima is at the top or near the top in its sales category every month. This increase is not so substantial (roughly about $200 on the S and even less than that on the SV) that it would change that.

This car doesnt have much competition. I can only think of the CC. What other true sports sedan can you get for this size and price?

Maxima looks better than the Accord and Camry I cant see why it dose not out sale the Camry though. Maybe price but it still gets my vote between the three just about every model change.

For over $30K, I'd like to see over 300Hp and a switch to direct injection next year should do the trick.

For a 40 grand loaded near luxury sedan I deserve AWD or RWD,over 300 HP. Not some torque steering wannabe that has a nice body. The Maxima is overpriced in my opinion. How much is that BMW 328 again?

Considering the Acura TL price, the Maxima is not really overpriced!
