U.S. brands remain stable in the American Customer Satisfaction Index
The American Customer Satisfaction Index reported that even with the industry’s overall decline in the past 18 months, the satisfaction with domestic automobiles has stabilized and had actually climbed in a few cases.

This annual report stated that based on ACSI’s 0-100 scale, overall automobile satisfaction fell from an all-time industry high of 84 in 2009 to 82 this year. Based at the University of Michigan, the American Customer Satisfaction Index measures the quality of products and services offered to US consumers. For the first time ever, Lincoln-Mercury and Buick topped the list.
