Retail prices for used SUVs and crossovers up 36% from a year earlier

Used-vehicle prices remain high. In fact, the retail prices of several used SUVs and crossover vehicles are about 30% higher than last year.

But on average, prices of used vehicles dropped again in July from record levels this spring. According to Edmunds, a used Cadillac Escalade’s price (averaged over all model years) was $34,715 in July. This represents a 36% increase over the average price paid a year ago.
