Report: Toyota reducing hybrid production target for 2011

According to the latest reports, it appears that Toyota is planning to boost production of vehicles by 7 percent in 2011 to 740,000 units, which means it will be less than an earlier target of 1 million.

Toyota recently submitted the production plan to its parts suppliers and as a surprise, a Toyota spokesman said that the company does not disclose details of future production plans.
