Spyshot: New Subaru Impreza

New Subaru Impreza

Auto Express can exclusively reveal the Japanese firm has outrageous plans for the next Impreza. Altering a formula which has proved a success for the past 12 years is a bold move, but the introduction of an Impreza hatch follows Mitsubishi's plans to radically alter its Evo line-up.

I don't think this is the ALL-NEW IMPREZA which is going to reveal in 2008.The current Impreza already got it's half life facelift in 2006.So this picture is not true.

New Impreza will have a a totally new design and engines when it will enter it's next generation.
And it will be a stunning model, going head to head with the new MITSUBISHI EVO X and there are also rumours that It will even compete against the ALL-NEW SKYLINE GT-R.

Therefore we can expect SUBARU and MITSUBISHI giving out along with regular four door sedans of EVO and IMPREZA, a new version of 2 door coupes of each competing agaist Nissan SKYLINE and SUPRA...etc

Im no expert but this may seem to be fairly old news back in the 2005 issue of auto express which in terms the look will be out dated and not real but i believe it leads us to know that there should be a major change in impreza line up....

It is official, from someone I know in the Fuji Heavy Industries that the new Imprezza WILL BE a hatch back.... possibly in both 3& 5 door format. No sedans, no coupes....

I think it looks pretty gangster, the back looks suspect though, would like to see another pic of the whole car.
