Ford Gets Into The Act And Recalls 463,000 Minivans Over Rust Concerns
Ford Motor Co. is recalling 462,750 1998-2003 Ford Windstar minivans over concerns that rear axles could corrode and fail.

The recall covers vans sold or registered in 21 "Salt Belt" states (including Michigan) and Washington, D.C., over concerns that after years of running, "corrosion can weaken the rear axle" and possibly crack it, leading to crashes.

Ford spokesman Said Deep said the Dearborn-based automaker also will recall about 113,000 Windstars in Canada.

I like how the Toyota recalls have made all the automakers more aware although they seem to be recalling based on the same issues rather than other issues they might have found or have yet to find out about.

Those are easy fixes. Unlike Toyota's problem. Fixing a lie!

Damn the Union painters can even push the button correctly so the robot can spray the vans.

Uhh correct if im wrong but im not wrong, but there have been more than double the number of recalls from none union companies than union companies. This is what happens when everything is done at the cheapest rate Toyota wants the cheapest parts and the cheapest labor but it is proven not to be a good thing this decade. BMW has a great Union build great cars and is very successful.
