"Simpson did it!" Actually Mission to Mars (2000) did it. The Isuzu VehiCross was made to be a convertible and being that it is an AWD vehicle that would make it the first, since it actually drove unlike all other concepts that just sit and look nothing like the real production car.

Either way it's a FAIL for Nissan. The current Murano is far away from what the original was. Save your money and buy a Rogue.

Well considering the people buying this will be either gay to the 10th degree or an airhead blonde, who cares.

Do you really think that Nissan dealers were inundated with people who said, "I'd really like to buy a Murano but there isn't a convertable".

I think I just burped up a little vomit. At least the douche-bags will have something to move up to from their Solara convertibles. Well done, Nissan!!

That thing is ridiculous. After the SUV, SAV and the CUV, Nissan is now introducing the CUC, the Cross-Ugly-Convertible.

Kudos.

"A reasonable man adapts to the world. An unreasonable man tries to adapt the world to his view. Without unreasonable men there is no progress." The baby boomers will buy everyone made causing BMW to follow suit. Sounds far fetched but I believe it will happen. Check back with me in three years.

I can't wait for Honda to follow suit. Toyota builds the Venza success and Honda builds an oversized hunchback Accord for $36k. Nissan makes this so maybe the Crosstour will now come with a collapsable hunchback.

I still want the cabrio Minivan like the one they made on Top Gear.
