The Story Of Jay Leno's All-New Jaguar XJ
When you order a new car to your spec and have it built and delivered, there is something special about that if you are a gearhead. It must be that feeling that it is yours and yours only.
This is the story of Jay Leno's all-new Jaguar XJ.
From the actual build to the to the cross-country truck delivery, it is not an easy process to get the car in Leno's hands. Having watched the footage, 00R has a new appreciation for the build and delivery process.

Honestly, as much I have enjoyed watching Jay, the fact that the guy "collects" cars as a hobby is only important to him.
Rich guys like Jay don't drive cars to enjoy them, they own them for the pedigree bragging rights.

I disagree. Jay Leno is a car guy through and through. Most guys who own stanley steamers wouldn't take them to work. Jay drives his Stanley all the time.

She works at the dealership and Jay doesn't buy a lot of Fords.
Jay chose a good color combination and a great set of rims.

No XJ L? Well, he's gonna be driving instead of just being a passegner, so the short wheelbase and the added supercharger makes sense.
I never knew the body panels weren't fiberglass... nice.
And the Galpin dealer... They've had amazing cars: the One-77, the 6.2L F-150 SVT Raptor, and now Jay Leno's Jag.
ahahhah The money he saves on clothes goes into the cars!

Well the "short" wheelbase is just one to two inches shorter than the BMW 745li. So its a pretty healthy car.

Shame on Jaguar for not sending Leno's or anyone's via covered transport, especially one traveling 2,500 miles! At the very least wrap the car like Audi does. Sorry, but that's a huge knock against Jaguar in my book.
