AWESOME or AWFUL: Is A Matte Rolls-Royce Overkill?

There are some trends that come and go, but there seems to be one that we cannot shake: matte paint.

Yes, yes. I have heard "It looks like primer," a million times and "Man, that's stupid." But, you have to admit on the right car it looks jaw-dropping good.

Question is, though: can it work on a Rolls-Royce?

To own any RR is "overkill" on vehicle ownership. The matte finish is actually makes it look a bit understated. Like, maybe, they could roll thru the hood, park outside --= all night --- and not be noticed. OK, that's a bit much to ask for...maybe just roll thru the hood during the day.

There is no such thing as overkill, but there is such thing as not far enough, All of the trucks are in that category, ALL, I want to see some over kill in the Off road department, not stickers. You car guys are so lucky! You didn't get any stickers, you got substance.

I guess if one adopts an 'alter ego' akin to something like the Green Hornet, this would make an ideal signature vehicle, otherwise it's a bit 'much' - IMO.

I think its rather tasteful, and lite on the eyes. The wheels are up for debate though.
