Something's MISSING In Detroit, Jesse Jackson's Caddy Gets Stripped

Something's MISSING In Detroit, Jesse Jackson's Caddy Gets Stripped
Love or hate Detroit, you have to admit one thing. That city needs some help, real bad.

And, if you didn't hear about Detroit's own, Mayor Dave Bing, getting ripped off and having his car hijacked, there's another to add to the list. Jesse Jackson's Cadillac Escalade was stolen and stripped of its wheels.

But here's the kicker: there's even more to the story.

I highly suggest you read down below then click "Read Article" to hear about the details...

Add Jesse Jackson’s ride to prominent vehicles being stripped in Detroit.

Following the embarrassing news that Mayor Dave Bing’s GMC Yukon was hijacked by criminals this week, Detroit’s Channel 7 reports that the Reverend’s Caddy Escalade SUV was stolen and stripped of its wheels while he was in town last weekend with the UAW’s militant President Bob King leading the “Jobs, Justice, and Peace” march promoting government-funded green jobs.

Read that again: Jackson’s Caddy SUV was stripped while he was in town promoting green jobs...

Jesse Jackson had his place (when he marched with Dr. Martin Luther King) but now we are fed up with him. I don't think he would make King happy.

It's not we who is feed up with him it's just you. Everyone knows to stop at an intersection because various means of regulations it didn't work so well in the past so now that everyone knows to stop we just take the regulation away? NO! IT STILL HAS IT'S PLACE! and so does J. Jackson

You guys are missing the point of the article.

He shows up to a Detroit 'GREEN' jobs summit and his Slade gets stripped!

Who shows up to a green jobs summit in an Escalade?

LOLOL!!!

I got it. I was just saying that he use to do good things but now he doesn't make the best decisions. kind of like showing up to a green jobs summit in an Escalade.

So what should he have taken a sports car? a large luxury sedan? We all love these cars and they are no better than the Escalade on fuel. Get over it we are all guilty at this point.

Detroit is so bad, Haiti is throwing a charity concert to help out!

Can't say I feel a bit of sympathy towards Jesse Jackson. Looks like Karma if you ask me.

The guy who shows up in Detroit in an Escalade talking about Green Jobs is just like the set of guys who flew Lear Jets to D.C. asking for a bailout.
Stupidity has no color, no party and knows no limits.

If he turned up in a Prius (read that as turning up in a Japanese vehicle to a function being held to promote American jobs) some of you idiots would be just as upset. The POINT of this article is that somebody had their belongings damaged by a group of people that need jobs. This group of people are just as American as the lot of you are. Yet, the vast majority of who have posted would love to see less done for them and more done for some cause that is as yet not at all clear, but would suit your pathetic description of proper.

I realize the stories are good on this site but common sense is left at the door when it's time to comment.

What makes the Escalade so improper for this event? Did they say that he was riding in the Escalade by himself? If he was carrying some passengers and luggage, then the Escalade is appropriate, and its fuel consumption is not an issue. An Escalade used to carry 5 people is making better use of its fuel than most sedans with just the driver.
