STUD or DUD: Is The New Bentley Continental GT The HOTTEST Coupe?

A stud, very strong in appearance, but yet very subtle and understated at the same time. It has that "like I don't have to prove to you that I'm more. I'm just am" appearance about itself.

STUD.......BUT......there is nothing that impresses me from the current model to the new model. OK it has the Mulsanne headlights(like we didnt know that was coming), different tail lights and tail pipes.....but if none of you spies will admit it I WILL this car is dated already to me you gotta remeber this design has been out since late 2003 as a 2004 model so this design is working on 6-7 years....now how many more years are we going to go with the same exact design are they trying to beat the Lexus SC430 record or what?????.... Like I said its a stunning car with a dated look sorta like the new Audi A8 but lets not open up that can. I was actually waiting to see the new GT and now that its out it doesnt impress me from the previous model....... Hey people save yourself about $100,000 or more and get a used 2004 model because nothing has changed IMO......

I totally get your point that you are making; but for the moment, let us live in the moment. The car had its origins as I believe to be an Audi for crying out loud. So, you can only get so much out of it.

The headlights are similar with star destroyer engine.
The tailgate lights are similar with boba fett space ship engine.
The light saber is missing only.

I have kept Continental many times and it is one of my favorite. I like the front end of new GT but not sure about the rear end especially the trunk lid. Autocar reports that a direct injection V8 will also be offered shortly so it is definitely a Stud.

Its a stud, just like the one it replaces. Who said the current model is stale? Its a timeless design.

I like this though. They have tightend up the look.

Not sure if its a stud or not. What does that car editor at the Wall Street Journal has to say about it? He's qualified to determine if a car is cool or not, We are not qualified.

Definitely a stud. I don't like the trunk lid and the license plate area. Kinda weird in a cool sort of way.

I think it looks great, but then again it looks almost exactly like the one that's been one the road for 7 years.

The wife says it looks too much like her 2010 Altima Coupe from the rear for a car that cost 6 times more.

I wish they would do more with the taillights....I give a B+

I can see the differences in it. To me it looks a little more expressive and a little more edgy at the same time. Definately an improvement over Mark 1. Stud for sure.

Perfection. This is what Jaguar has failed at doing over the years...REFINING THE DESIGN.
The Mulsanne like headlights are sick!!!! Love it! The squared off shoulders and twaeks were very very well thought out. Not rushed. The trickery used the make the rear window look bigger works...unlike the crass jag XJ c-pillar.STUD ALL DAY!!!!

Fact is fact. The GT is dud. The exterior is copy of Mitsuoka Ryoga.
The technology could be similar with new VW Phaeton.
(Frankly speaking, I'm not sure that you are aware of these cars.)
