Ok It takes a certain type of person to get a vanity plate and that person is usually a gigantic douche bag.

But you have to admit that certain people have either the luck or a knack for for creating one that can go right past the censors at the DMV.  Sometimes it is even funnier to see that random plate make it though the system that has a second meaning.

If I was to ever get vanity plates, I would get:

VNITPL8

just to be a smartass, especially with all the chuckleheads here in LA who actually think it's cool to put an easy to remember license plate on their car so driver's can identify the "car" for the CHP and any other police dept to track them down....

MAXIPAZ adorned a white 1993 Topaz in both Michigan and Ohio (same car) the vehicle was replaced by a red Ford Tempo when the white car was stolen... I dare you to guess the tag!

The best..in Orange County...I wish I had gotten a picture..a White Bronco..just like O.J.'s and the plate said "OJ WHO"

I live in the UK, and here we can't 'personalise' our plates, but we can buy plates that by lucky coincidence spell out names or initials, but they usually follow a certain formula - a letter, up to 3 numbers, then 3 letters (or the reverse if it's pre-1985)
The best plate I ever saw was on a Lamborghini Countach... it was "HOT 53X" - hilarious!!

2 BE is mostly always on the Vanquish.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s there was guy in Montana who had a bright yellow '70 Ford 302 Boss Mustang with personalized plates that read "HI OFCR!"
