With New Products, Nissan Plays Up Innovation Angle
EIGHT years after urging consumers to “Shift” their buying behavior when it comes to cars, trucks and minivans, Nissan North America is changing brand themes. In a campaign that is scheduled to get under way on Saturday, Nissan North America, part of the Nissan Motor Company of Japan, will proclaim its mission is to provide “Innovation for all.” The change will also bring more humor to Nissan advertising than has been evident recently: the addition of a sound at the end of each commercial, meant to symbolize the Nissan brand, and a new voice-over announcer for the commercials, the actor Robert Downey Jr. Nissan is “rallying around innovation,” said Jon Brancheau, vice president for Nissan marketing at Nissan North America in Franklin, Tenn., as embodied by the Leaf, the mass-market electric car that the company is to bring out at the end of the year.

Innovative advertising not innovative vehicles, although they have nice vehicles, they are better than Toyota, and have a little more style on some of there models than Honda, although nothing stands out, exept there GTR, There trucks titan is behind the F-150 and Dodge, and the mini truck is behind the H-3, although better than the Toyota.

I disagree, the 370Z, Altima, and Maxima are all pretty good vehicles. The Sentra needs a replacement as it's a little long in the tooth and feels quite buzzy with the CVT. I agree with your other model statements. If Nissan utilized a little more of the Infiniti technology, design and build quality Hyundai would be afraid.

Being owner of G and previously Camry, I don't really agree Nissan's quality is better than Toyota or offer better product line. It is certainly more sports-oriented, but hey, LFA is also something(Had it got Nissan's ATTESA, it will probably run a 7:15 lap. Nissan should start tuning consultancy like Lotus). If Toyota starts offering something like Z(which I never understand why they haven't), then I cannot guarantee my loyalty.

Honda is lost in somewhere. Sad.

To clarify: G is certainly more durable than my 3, but somehow doesn't feel as tightly assembled as Toyota. It's like a 95 to 99.
