Spy shots: Will BMW 1-Series be Manual Only?

As dual-clutch transmissions, all manner of computer whiz-bangery, and endless factory customization options become the norm for production sports cars, BMW aficionados longing for the clutch pedal days can breathe a sigh of relief. According to information recently leaked from a BMW press event, BMW’s much-anticipated 1 Series M will reportedly be a limited-run, three-pedal coupe, with three color choices.

it should be. these damn car companies need at least 1 manual only vehicle. i know that most would disagree because that practice would hinder sales but so what?!?!?!

I think more cars should offer manuals instead of these other fancy automatics. I don't want to flip pedals like an F1 driver, I want to feel my gears and control my cars speed.

If most customers order Automatics and this is the trend (especially in Europe) why would car companies not offer them?
