New Toyota sports hybrid car might not be a rival to the Honda CR-Z
s you may know already, Toyota is currently working on a rival to the 2011 Honda CR-Z. The new car is rumored to be based on the open-cockpit hybrid concept based on Toyota's MR2, dubbed GRMN Sports Hybrid Concept.

Apparently, the current vehicle is powered by a 3.3-liter V-6 engine with all-wheels drive, capable to push it to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds. The car is also powered by an electric motor, but no details were revealed regarding this.
