Shelby announces 800 hp Super Snake package for the 2011 GT500

Shelby American announced today that it will offer a Super Snake post title package for the 2011 Ford Shelby GT500. The new package includes new styling cues but also an optional 800 horsepower tuned engine as well as a limited number of 1,000 units.

The 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake post title package includes plenty of goodies such as a new Ford Racing handling pack including dynamic adjustable dampers, lowering springs, tuned stabilizer bars, and front strut tower brace, a new 6-speed manual gearbox with 3.73:1

You can buy a GTR for that price....however checkout the cost of maintaining a GTR...parts and labor are way over the top in Ferrari territory !
