Honestly, the first time I saw this car... I thought it was hideous! But took a close look at it the other day, and it was in Tungsten Pearl. It was looking so nice. I am just really happy to know that my favourite company Lexus (im an enthusiats) has put out a very nice car! I'm sure it's all worth the price!
Okay, just look at this video on this link... doesnt the car look so nice?

LOL Your right in a way you know.
But I hate to admit it... I do think it looks a little like the Camry, in a way. But I honestly don't like the styling on the new Camry but I seem to like it on the ES. How is that possible.
ES is the top selling Lexus in Canada besides the RX 330/350/400h!
I can say that I see four every KILOMETER! A kilometer is three times as short as a mile!
So there is my response! The top selling four door passesnger car in the Lexus division is the ES. The ES just came out last week in Canada and I have already see 17! In less than four days! Ohhh!

Of course they don't, the color is different...
I think your pretty pictures prove the opposite point, they do look alike, the Camry being more riced up, as one colleague commented :o

Your pictures really do prove the resemblance.
You shouldn't have posted those pictures. I always knew the two cars were similar, but now looking at the pictures I'm actually shocked at the resemblance.

Thank you JT finally someone understands that something great it coming from Lexus! A Japansese luxury for the Hinomaru can be just as good as a Mercedes-Benz or a BMW- that came from the same place as Hitler! This vehicle should prove that a Camry based Lexus can be better and NOT LOOK LIKE its cousin! I mean you dont hear anything about GM's crap and them makeing the Buick Terezza $30,000 Minivan when the Saturn Relay costs' like $18,000!
Go Japan!

Actually, I drive an overpriced Mazda, branded as Ford, because it is Mazda, and I never claim that it is not a Mazda, or that it is not overpriced, or that it is not a POS :)

Well, my point was that just because I drive something that doesn't make it the best car and the best car maker out there, nor should I brag about them being the best. There are many subjective and often sentimental reasons why whe choose our set of wheels. Sometimes we are just stupid :)

while many would diss Lexi as overpriced Toyotas, that is NO INSULT in japan. toyota models not exported include V12 limosines, and other models that can compete, model for model, with many of the world's best.

excluding only the exotic cars. but the LF-A will fix that shortcoming soon.

while no one will deny the ES and the Camry are built off the same platform, in the previous generation, the Lexus was designed first. so it could be said [bold]the Camry was actually a DE-CONTENTED LEXUS![/bold]

(not sure that happened with current generation, as the camry was released first this time. still, they both share the same FIRST RATE ENGINEERING and DURABILITY.)
