Alfa Romeo coming back the the USA

The company plans to launch Alfa in the US via Maserati dealers but Mr Marchionne said this would not take place until after 2007, when new car launches would meet US regulatory standards.

This is great news. The Brera is hot. A great brand for people who want something distinctive, but hasn't been bought by Ford or GM.

I had the incredible good fortune once in my life to drive (at near race speeds) a Ferrari 360 Modena race car on the track at Monza, Italy. A life-changing event, to be sure. It also solidified for me the Italian idea of driving excitement. I have driven Alfas in the past (a Spyder and a Milano years ago) and I love the feel, sound, everything about how they drive. I can't wait until Alfa has a dealer pressence in the US again!

I am ready! Bring them on! I'll gladly trade my stodgey black German sedan for a Ferrari red Alfa 156 GTA, my navy pinstripe suits for a colorful, open-collar Armani shirt and sunglasses, Beethoven for a Rossini Opera....you get the idea. It can't happen soon enough for me! Buon Giorno, Alpfa Romea! Dorso benvenuto!

Iam so hapy to say that Alfa Romeo will finally be coming back to North Amrica! These cars will sell like hotcakes here in Canada TRUST ME!

I am soooooooooooo excited to see Alfa Romeo in the U.S. again! Thank God Fiat made some soldi in order to fund this reunion. However,fourteen years is way too long not to have these Italian beauties sling dirt with the best from Japan and Germany on American soil. As soon as 2007 hits, I’ll be the first in line to test drive the Alfa 159!
