SPYSHOT: Volvo getting ready for Wabbit season?

Look beyond the disguise, and it's easy to C what this is - it's Volvo's new Golf challenger! The Swedish firm's VW rival, which has been christened the C30, was snapped during cold-weather testing by our spy photographer.

And despite the black coverings, the pictures reveal that the new compact executive hatch has the same proportions as the concept seen at the Detroit Motor Show. With a steeply raked rear window and chunky lines, the C30 brings the look of the late Eighties 480ES and original P1800ES bang up-to-date.

I think it's cute. But it will never be as great as the Volkswagen Golf... I mean RABBIT! Maybe if they offer a four door it will be more compatable. I honestly do think its nice. But the rear is too angled.

Your right Hugo. The B Class is so fugly! It should NOT be sold in the smae place as the S Class! I hope Mercedes isn't planning on bringing that CRAP A Class here. It's garbage! I mean what kind of name is "Mercedes B Class"It sounds like some kind of second class post script kinda crap garbage!

You guys have aboslutely no clue, once again Americans talking crap about cars which they dont even sell in your damn country. The A-Class is a great car,especially in the areas of interior space, quality,fuel economy and safety and this is proven by its worldwide sales success (remember that there are other countries in the world apart from the USA). Here (Australia) it is sold in the same dealership right next to the S-Class and SL and it has no impact on the brands image.

Incase you didn't realise petrol prices are a big problem facing the world - americans pay absolutely nothing for petrol in comparsion to here and Europe so you probably wouldnt understand. Small cars such as this C30, the A-class, 1 Series etc are good for fuel economy and will, as petrol prices soar, become increasingly popular as small car sales overtake those of large cars.

Mike, well said i couldnt have said it better my self. The truth is all they care about is whats the most expensive,fastest and fashionable car of the moment. No concern for fuel efficiency or the fact that there are others that care about the world and wish to purchase a product that is enviorementaly friendly. So whats their take on this again....
