For the very first time MANSORY Switzerland AG presents an individualized programme for current BMW models. The X5 will be the first model of the white-blue brand to be treated to an extensive refinement process. “The X5 is just the beginning,” announced Managing Director Michael Stein. “In response to the many requests of our importers and customers, we will very shortly be developing an exclusive programme for the bodywork, performance and interior of other selected BMW models. Other fascinating refinements for the BMW X6 as well as for the BMW 7 series are soon to follow.”

In the development stages, MANSORY Switzerland AG attaches great importance to both individual design as well as to precisely tailored workmanship. The programme for the SUV X5 has already skilfully set these standards. Stylish coordinated components make the broadly-built frame a real eye-catcher. An integral part of the imposing front structure is a very sporty front spoiler with big cooling air inlets. An extra light engine bonnet made entirely from carbon optimises the supply of fresh air to the front motor with ventilating channels. MANSORY individualization achieves a unique appearance with much broader fenders, which create an entity with the newly fitted side skirts. With an additional vehicle width of 70 millimetres at the front and 80 millimetres at the back, the MANSORY X5 conveys the message of pure power, even when stationary.

The back-spoilers have also been newly designed with an integrated diffuser, making space for the four stainless-steel tailpipes of the sport exhaust system. These fit the vehicle’s new image of masculinity perfectly. Further features made from exposed carbon give the refining process the finishing touches. This includes amongst others the roof spoiler, which provides additional downforce and improves the stability of the vehicle at high speeds. The new aerodynamic components are largely manufactured by the engineers out of MANSORY characteristic prepeg-autoclave carbon. This enables an almost perfect surface quality with minimal weight.

The striking appearance of the MANSORY-SUV is assisted by a wide range of performance kits for the standard engines. The highlight is a vigorous upgrade for the BMW X5 M aggregate. Approximately 670 hp /493kW and a torque of 950 Nm at a rate of 5900 Umin (series: 555 hp / 408 kW and 680 Nm at a rate of 1500 – 5650 Umin) results from the use of a completely new exhaust system along with headers as well as optimised engine electrics. Thanks to these changes, the 4×4 accelerates in only 4.2 seconds to a speed of 100 km/h and achieves a maximum speed of 300 km/h.

OMG. That beats the front end of CLS ASMA in ugliness.

That's one of the ugliest frontends I've ever seen, which is a shame because the rest of the design works for me.

Really? Now, I personally think that this is one of the most offensive models that I have seen.

@ Grysko: You know I might have to take back my comment and actually kinda short of agree with you. After really taking a good look at it, I would say its not bad. I want to see it in person thought, but it seems like that front fascia is hideous.

Hey, people give them credit. At least they didn't screw up the interior. They actually made it better.

I understood the X5.

I understood the X6.

I understood the X5M.

I understood the X6M.

But this? No way. Utterly ridiculous.
