wow.. ur a moron.. Audi has the best four wheel drive system in the market. Even BMW and others try to find a flaw and invent their own four wheel drive which is inferior to Audi's.
Can't u do math btw?
what do u think will cost more... 4 wheel drive or rear wheel drive...
And if u have any doubts, just look at the new RS4 kicking M5 on the track.. by few seconds...

Why would Audi try move to RWD, when they are Celebrating 25 years of Quattro (that is what AWD means Sunny—). If anything it is all the other auto makers that are trying to copy—with X drive and 4matic and all those other 4wd wanna-be’s (but are not even close to Quattro). Also honestly AWD is just as good on the street or track, and I know this from experience—unlike those BMW critics who say it is—but couldn’t tell you why) and MB can’t out maneuver a 18 wheeler, and that is in perfect dry weather. Lets be real, the only thing that Audi is doing is perfecting the Quattro with the torque and traction at a 30/70% or 40/60% (30 or 40 in the front and 60-70 % in the rear, still awd, living up to the motto “Never Follow” unlike BMW---
BMW critic----“BMW would never follow that Audi crap"
Well lets just look at the facts---BMW is trying to scrap their SMG transmission for a DSG facsimile, everything has the X drive option that they are always try to push on you, that couldn’t help you if there is even a light dusting. Oh YES---- Last but not least, the new ground breaking 335—twin turbo with direct fueling system,, ----hmmmmmmmmm where have I seen that before---OOOO yea, it is in the AUDI in my driveway..

Smart guy--who owns porshe, your first posting was comparing AWD to rwd--and you tell me when you ACTUALLY OWN a car that you can truly compare
where the tiers are---
It's OK, no matter how much you try to deny-
Audi is on and above the level.

Sunny,it's not fare u can't say like this to AUDI,u also know it, that what u r saying is completly untrue.Ok what do u think about the AWD of SUBARU.

Sunny seems a little delusional to me. I think the next generation A4 will surpass the 3 series from what I have seen so far.

I was going to post something but, 001Buster, you've done a good job of leveling things.
Other than saying we have a couple of hot heads who like to tout the face they drive the best thing on earth and won't even come to the idea that their brand isn't the best...it's just hot air coming from their tailpipes.
And with all Quai D'Orsay had to say I figured he name drop a little with all his hot air.
But to comment on the original post. I don't really care for those ad's. They are over done and sometimes corny.

It is hard to change people's minds. Just one tidbit of information. If you only look at sales, the Ford F-150 is the greatest thing ever made. A million people a year can't possibly be wrong.

If more sales = a better car ...then I can tell you failed your economics class (that is if you even attended a higher institution, or even one worth mentioning). It is a fact that BMW has more models than Audi (reason #1 why it could potentially sell more cars), it is also a fact that since the Bangle era BMW has had to give away 7-series and other Banglized models with discounts in the vicinity of +$7000 (reason #2 why BMW could potentially "give-away" more cars than Audi).
Anyone with half a brain in this board will know that (although you proof otherwise... which leads me to believe that you may not have a brain at all).
All Sales numbers give you is ... you may want to sit down for this one ... S-A-L-E-S!

That is the opinion of a mechanic from an unknown shop in Chicago.
Thanks for your OPINION.
Now this is NOT an opinion... I have 105K miles on that same engine, a 2.7T (2000 A6) with absolutely no problems and plan to keep it for 4 more years. Now, I realize that is only a statistical point, but nonetheless a fact.
Something about C&D and R&T. I used to subscribe to them for years. Now I only subscribe to one of them (only because I can still get some data and pictures out of them). Anyway, if there is a magazine that can smoke up BMW's *ss better than these two for the sake of obtaining test cars, then please let me know so I don't make the mistake of subscribing to them. If you guide your life and decisions based on a biased magazine(s)then your life must be pretty sad.
If you only refer to them to make a point, it is also sad since that is the only place you'll find articles favorably comparing BMWs to Audis and Mercs. Why don't you check the trends in reliability and see who has made great strides and is among the top in reliability (not to mention safety and performance).
