SPIED: Is A Panamera-Inspired Interior Going To Appear On The NEW 911?

SPIED: Is A Panamera-Inspired Interior Going To Appear On The NEW 911?
Say what you will and call me a "hater" if you please, but to me the Porsche 911's have never had a substantial interior.

Don't get me wrong, it is not like a Corvette but it was far from jaw dropping. Unless you have $30,000 you want to part with -- since Porsche's can look fantastic if you have greenbacks to throw away -- they're relatively Spartan and...well...German. Duh.

However, when Porsche decided to put out the Panamera, they really outdid themselves. Talk about a great interior. Sure it's a little button-centric but when you actually own the car it won't matter after a week. Hell, 001 thinks the Panamera interior is better than a Bentley. Rightly so!

Now that the new Cayenne has bowed we notice that it has a similar interior. Hm, a trend emerging? And, I do believe we called it first but it looks like the new 911 that's coming soon will feature more of the same.

Thank God!

The interior look is consistent with all the early news about the next generation 911 - larger, more upscale, more expensive, more GT-like. The Cayman will also grow, and become the "new 911" (more sports car, less GT) and will be priced closer to today's 911. How about a 3.8 liter DFI 385 hp Cayman? Sign me up

I hope they add more buttons.

Maybe too many buttons, but when you look at the current generation this one looks much nicer.

Is it just me or do I see Audi A/C knobs and interior buttons? Looks like VW's influence is already creeping its way into porsche!

(I mean this in a good way, IMHO a 911 w/ an Audi styled interior is as good as it gets :)

I see these cars every day in my shop and drive them again almost every day. From 911's to turbos to gt3's to carrera gt's I get to drive them on a daily basis. I cant stand porsche' interiors. The only one I really like is the GT3RS.

Good to see Porsche step it up- especially since most of the decent 911's are now north of 100k.

Its okay, I am gonna wait to see it in person.
On another note I was at the dealership saturday. They are insane with the prices of the used cars. I saw a 96 911 Coupe that seemed to be fairly base. It had 30k miles on it and they wanted 43k for it. It would have been great for 18,500 but 43??? Seriously.
