Kia planning a major marketing boost for the 2011 Optima
Kia has high hopes for its redesigned 2011 Optima, with its unique design and features, to soon be one of its topselling nameplates. Kia’s current Optima occupies only a thin slice of the roughly 1.7 million-unit mid-sized sedan segment.

Kia sells only about 25,000 units each year in the US. But Kia anticipates sales to go up due to Optima’s sporty exterior design made by Kia’s European design studio in Frankfurt, Germany.

I prefer the exterior styling of this new Kia Optima over the newly designed Hyundai Sonata.

KIA plans a major marketing boost for the new Sonat...err...Optima. An edgier Sonata, but I still prefer the Hyundai over this styling. It looks too much like the boy-racer Civic-wannabe Forte.
