RENDERED SPECULATION: Do You Want The NEXT BMW 3-Series To Look Like THIS?

Well, we didn't see this one coming. According to a Spy looking through a European enthusiast magazine, they have come across renderings of the next-generation 3-Series that we have not seen before. The cars in question are the next-gen 3-Series convertible, GT, sedan and touring.

Given that the 3-Series is nearing the end of its life cycle and spy photographers have captured heavily camouflaged versions testing abroad, we know it is only a matter of time before it slips out entirely.

Until then we will continue to dissect artist's renderings and wait.

I recently had the chance to take a look at a new edition of one of the European auto rags and I noticed the cover story was about the next generation BMW 3-Series. I knew you'd get a kick out of it so I figured a spy would lend a hand to another. BTW there's more where that came from.

I've always wondered what the current 3er interior would look like if Chris Bangle and his people weren't forced to hold back. That's all I care about.

The illustrations above are nice, but I'd like to see something less predictable. Isn't that supposed to be teh fun of new generations of a lineup?

I agree with World of Luxury. I have never liked the interior of the current 3 series. To me that is the week spot of the car. The interior of the previous generation was much nicer. Since they are going back to the old style of the car maybe they will go back to the interior too. Hopefully.
